We inform you that yesterday, the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit ("SHCP") published in the Federal Official Gazette ("DOF") in its afternoon edition, the Decree that adds a fifth paragraph to Article 1 of the Law on Public Sector Acquisitions, Leases and Services, hereinafter the "Decree".

We inform you that yesterday, the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit ("SHCP") published in the Federal Official Gazette ("DOF") in its afternoon edition, the Decree that adds a fifth paragraph to Article 1 of the Law on Public Sector Acquisitions, Leases and Services, hereinafter the "Decree".

The Decree adds the following text:

Exempt from the application of this Law is the acquisition of goods or provision of services for health that agencies and/or entities contract with international intergovernmental organizations, through previously established mechanisms of collaboration, provided that the application of the principles set forth in the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States is accredited.

This exception provided for in the Decree will have repercussions on the Mexican health sector.
