We inform you that on June 29, 2020 the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources ("SEMARNAT"), published in the Federal Official Gazette ("DOF") the Resolution that modifies Article 31 of the General Administrative Provisions ("DACGs") that establish the guidelines for the prevention and integral control of methane emissions from the hydrocarbons sector (the "Resolution"), in which we highlight the following:

• The Regulated must submit before the National Agency for Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection of the Hydrocarbons Sector ("ASEA"), a Program for the Prevention and Integral Control of Methane Emissions from the Hydrocarbons Sector ("PPCIEM"), in accordance with the provisions of articles 22, 23 and 24 of the DACGs, 19 months after its preparation and integration, accompanied by the Opinion issued by the Third Party Authorized by the ASEA.
