Guillermo F. Manning is a Partner at Rodriguez Dávalos Abogados. He is in charge of the Litigation and Rights of Way areas, focusing mainly on the energy sector. Additionally, his work at the firm includes the implementation of strategic projects in natural gas, electricity and hydrocarbons. He has extensive knowledge in the following areas: Civil, Commercial, Agricultural, Administrative, Energy and Amparo, among others. Another substantial part of his work has been the legal approach to the nature, acquisition, protection and preservation of rights of way. He played an important part on the inter-corporate team of attorneys and financiers that obtained international financing for the most significant pipeline project in the last 40 years in Mexico (Los Ramones II North and South).

As a trial attorney, he has advised companies and has been involved in civil, commercial, agricultural, administrative and amparo proceedings continuously for over 25 years. With regard to energy projects, he has implemented legal strategies, projects and programs for the acquisition of rights of way for acquiring companies, as well as the preparation of the required material contracts and agreements. He has participated in consultancy, supervision, redemption, defense and more recently the direct acquisition of over 1,500 kilometers of rights of way.

He is a member of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) and is a founding member of Chapter 85 of the IRWA in Mexico. Founding Member of the Mexican Rights of Way Association (Asociación Mexicana de Derecho de Vía); Member of the Center for Studies, Research and Technological Innovation in Valuation for Latin America (Centro de Estudios, Investigación e innovación Tecnológica de la Valuación para América Latina, S.C.) He has taught various subjects in law at Universidad Intercontinental and Universidad Iberoamericana, among others.

He is a graduate of the Escuela Libre de Derecho. He completed post-graduate studies in Private Law at the Autonomous University of Mexico (Universidad Autónoma de México, UNAM). He has published several articles and lectures regularly on his areas of specialty.
