Amanda E. Bado is Senior Consultant and is part of the economists' division at Rodríguez Dávalos Abogados. She has built her expertise in the analysis and design of business plans and applicable rate models to regulated activities by the Energy Regulatory Commission (Comisión Reguladora de Energía or CRE) related to Hydrocarbons, Refined Products and Petrochemicals.
She participated in the design and assessment of land and marine storage systems rates. She also worked on the integrated transportation systems of the Pemex Logística.
Currently, she is working in the analysis of General Administrative Provisions to determine applicable rates for pipeline transportation and natural gas storage services. She is also working on expert reports for judicial procedures in economic regulation.
In her prior work experience, Amanda was Deputy Director of Planning and Budget in the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público or SHCP), focused on annual budgetary control. Previously, she was the Deputy Director of Rate Analysis at the CRE. She has mainly participated in the review process of the Five Year Plans regulating Natural Gas and LPG Transportation, Distribution and Storage.
At the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), she was a Consultant in Regulatory Economic Analysis. She had a key role in the project on the estimated efficiency factor (Factor X) of the Natural Gas rates for the National Pipeline System. She received her degree in Economics and her Master's Degree in Economics at the UAM.
