Patricio M. Mier is Of Counsel to Rodríguez Dávalos Abogados. He is an expert in administrative law and rights of way. His strength in these matters has contributed to provide legal advice for national and international companies on legal strategy in the acquisition of rights of way and the processes for obtaining permits from various authorities concerning work execution. He also represents national and international companies in securing rights of way on various linear infrastructure projects. He has served as an adviser and consultant to the Energy Regulatory Commission ("Comisión Reguladora de Energía" or "CRE") and the Energy and Environmental Safety Agency ("Agencia de Seguridad Energía y Medio Ambiente" or "ASEA") for the design and development of its regulatory framework for rights of way within the powers recognized in the Energy Reform. He represents clients in various litigious administrative processes on infrastructure projects.
His previous professional experience, at the Federal Electricity Commission ("Comisión Federal de Electricidad" or "CFE") and five years as a litigator on commercial and administrative matters, has proved to be strategically useful in the legal advice he provides for the different projects he is in charge of. Patricio is a member of International Right of Way Association (IRWA) and was a speaker at its Annual Convention (2014).
Patricio M. Mier studied Law at Universidad Anáhuac del Norte. In addition, he completed post-graduate studies in the Management Program for Lawyers at Yale University.
