Mónica Santoyo is a Senior Associate at Rodríguez Dávalos Abogados. Since 2000, she has focused her professional practice to environmental and energy matters. She has participated on many renewable and non-renewable energy projects, hydrocarbons and electricity.
Mónica has a solid background in environmental law, energy law, public tenders, regulatory matters, administrative law, government contracts and public works. She has participated in power generation projects (i.e. wind, hydraulic, photovoltaic, combined cycle, cogeneration, among others); natural gas transport, storage and regasification; transport, storage and distribution of LP gas; public tenders and contracts with the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) and Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX).

Mónica obtained her law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana and has a postgraduate degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Environmental Law and Natural Resources.
