Principal at Rodríguez Dávalos Abogados, Liliana Ramírez (economist) has over 10 years of experience in economic analysis involving regulation, development of rate models, and economic and financial models. She has participated in the determination of rates for obtaining storage and transmission permits for petroleum products and petrochemicals. She has also participated in several projects, which include: obtaining the permit for the transmission of liquefied petroleum gas via Pemex Gas y Petroquímica Básica (PGPB) pipelines and the five-year Review of natural gas transmission rates on PGPB pipelines in order to determine the maximum income in the second regulation period. She has also prepared expert reports on economic regulation.
Her previous work experience was at the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit as Director of Technical Support for the Undersecretary of Expenditures. She was the Director of Distribution Rates at the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE). She was also Regulation Adviser at Autonomous Metropolitan University (Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana or UAM). At this University, she gave classes in the Master's in Economics program.
She earned her Master's Degree in Economics from UAM. She completed the Diploma in Law and Economics of Regulation, an Electricity Rates Course, a Course on Energy Regulation, and an International Seminar on the Regulation of Public Services.
