Joaquín Molleda is a Senior Associate at Rodríguez Dávalos Abogados, he focuses his practice in regulatory and contractual counselling in the energy sector, mainly in the development of infrastructure projects. His practice has focused on advising different companies in the design and implementation of contractual and regulatory strategies for the development of LNG Storage, Natural Gas Transportation and Petrochemical Storage activities, as well as for the update of service contracts related to the Exploration and Extraction of Hydrocarbons.

Prior to joining this firm, Joaquin worked at Grupo Atalaya, where he took part in the development of Phase I and Phase II of Los Ramones gas pipeline project. Previously, he worked at the Energy Ministry (Secretaría de Energía o SENER) where he performed regulatory analysis for the hydrocarbons subsector, particularly in the refining, petrochemicals and petroleum marketing areas.

He obtained his Law Degree at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
