Anaid Arlet López Uribe is an Associate at Rodríguez Dávalos Abogados. She specializes in consulting on legal matters regarding energy and her areas of focus are the implementation of projects regarding hydrocarbons and oil products (upstream, midstream and downstream) and electricity, including renewable energies. She has extensive knowledge of the regulatory, commercial and trade framework on hydrocarbons and the new electricity auctions system; she contributed in the procurement of permits for the construction of the Los Ramones pipeline project, Phase I and Phase II, and in the closing of refinancing for a Mexican company with a value of just over US $1.1 billion. She also specializes in contract and permit´s compliance.
During her prior experience she was an intern at the law office of Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP, at the Washington, D.C. offices, and carried out professional practices at the Federal Commission of Economic Competition.
She earned her B.A. with a major in Law and a minor in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, graduating with honors. She has a Diploma in Energy Law from the Escuela Libre de Derecho, among other studies. She received her Master's Degree in Environmental and Energy Law at New York University. Anaid has been admitted to the New York Bar.
