Alberto Eduardo Zamacona Aboumrad is an Associate at Rodríguez Dávalos Abogados. In his practice he focuses on corporate, maritime and energy law. He specializes in consulting projects that deal with the transmission of natural gas and other hydrocarbons, as well as projects related to the operation, management and leasing or chartering of vessels, providing advice on compliance with legislation and applicable maritime authorities. He also focuses his practice on corporate law, including the legal framework applicable to companies. 

He has participated in the most important energy infrastructure project in recent years, i.e. the Los Ramones project, providing legal and regulatory advice and participated in the negotiation of Contracts for the Delivery of Integrated Natural Gas Transmission Services, Operation and Maintenance, and Engineering, Procurement and Construction. He has also provided advice on the procurement of various temporary cabotage permits for foreign vessels, as well as the preparation and processing for the declaration of "extraordinary specialization". He has participated in various bidding processes for the delivery of natural gas transmission services, conducted by the Federal Electricity Commission, and for the delivery of support services to vessels as well as the processing of permits, held by Pemex Exploración y Producción. 

Previously, he was an attorney for the company Blue Marine Technology, a company dedicated to providing offshore services, working in the corporate and regulatory areas. He was also an intern and lawyer in the office of Jones Day México, S.C. (previously De Ovando y Martínez del Campo, S.C.) working in the area of corporate law, advising foreign clients with foreign investment issues, immigration procedures, trademarks, performingdue diligences, etc.

He studied Law at the Universidad Anáhuac Mexico Norte. He obtained his Master's Degree in Oil and Gas Law at the University of Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Scotland.
